Government Relations
The government relations team, based in Washington D.C., follows new developments to enable PMI and its customers, as well as regulators and legislators, to develop flexible and innovative solutions to extend mortgage lending to all qualified borrowers. PMI's government relations group meets frequently with policymakers to help legislators and regulators better understand the significant role PMI and mortgage insurance play in the mortgage finance markets. PMI advocates affordable housing solutions and provides a valuable and unique perspective to public policy discussions aimed at increasing the availability of mortgage funds to greater segments of the population.
