PMI fosters the goal of homeownership by providing access to affordable housing for underserved areas and populations. Through the nonprofit, The PMI Foundation, this mission is fulfilled by supporting national and local organizations that create housing opportunities and help revitalize communities throughout the United States.
PMI also promotes employee volunteer involvement in an ongoing effort to actively contribute to the quality of life in the communities where PMI employees live, work and seek education.

Habitat for Humanity: Sharing Habitat’s goal to put families in homes, PMI was named a Cornerstone Partner for Habitat for Humanity in 2003. Internationally, PMI employees volunteer their labor, and The PMI Foundation has contributed generously to over 150 Habitat builds worldwide.
Homeownership Preservation: Learn how PMI is contributing to the effort to maximize homeownership preservation and minimize foreclosure across the country.
