Homebuyer Education
Follow these 4 easy steps to complete and obtain a certificate
of completion:
Request the appropriate Education/Reading material:
Choose either the Prepurchase guide for first-time homebuyers, "Becoming a Successful Homeowner," or the landlord guide, "Becoming a Landlord."
(Note: Borrowers purchasing 2-4 unit properties only need to complete both prepurchase and landlord counseling.)

Borrowers must telephone CCCS (Consumer
Credit Counseling Services) at 1.800.632.ROOF (7663) to set up
a counseling appointment.
Borrower Credit Release
Agreement [PDF] is
needed with the Borrower's signature for closing.
