Eligibility:
PMI's “Tailgate for 8” Contest (the "Promotion") is open to residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., excluding Georgia, who are 18 years and older. Employees, contractors, directors and officers of PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. ("Sponsor") and their respective parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries (collectively, "Promotion Parties"), and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings) and/or those living in the same households of each are not eligible to win. Void in Georgia and where prohibited by law.
Promotion Period:
The Promotion begins at 8:00 a.m. on 9/22/08 PDT and ends at 8:00 p.m. PDT and ends on 11/14/08 PDT ("Promotion Period").
How to Enter:
During the Promotion Period, go to HYPERLINK www.pmi-us.com/tailgate ("Website") and follow the instructions on how to complete and submit the registration form. Entrants must fill out a form with the correct answer for a chance to win a prize. A new clue will be posted each week on Monday morning during the promotion period. Limit one entry per person/email address per week (up to a total of eight (8) entries during the Promotion Period). Winners will be randomly drawn from correct entries each week. You are not a winner until your prize claim is validated and you receive official written notification from the Sponsor. Any attempt to obtain more than one entry per week by using multiple/different email addresses or identities will void all of that participant's entries. Entries by automatic, programmed or like methods will be disqualified. All online entrants must have a valid e-mail address. 300 prizes will be awarded each week as discussed below.
Prizes, Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") & Odds:
2400 prizes (300 prizes per week). ARV: $10.00. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor's sole discretion. If prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Arrangements for delivery of prize will be performed after winner validation. Limit one prize per person/email address per week. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by email. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prizes are not suitable for children under the age of three.
General Rules:
All federal, state and local laws apply. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of attempted delivery or prize will be forfeited. The return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or failure to return any documents in a timely manner may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be chosen. By participating, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Promotion Parties from and against any and all liability or damages associated with this Promotion or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize received in this Promotion. Promotion Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or administration of the Promotion. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners' names and likenesses for purposes of advertising and publicity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules, which shall be final in all matters relating to the Promotion. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion, including without limitation, any fraud in voting, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries and/or modify and/or terminate the Promotion and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all known eligible non-suspect entries received. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name appearing on the entry form at the time of initial registration. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Promotion or Website or acts in a disruptive manner. This Promotion is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the State of California. By entering, entrants irrevocably consent to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California located in the county of Contra Costa for any action, suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Promotion.
Waiver:
By participating in this Promotion, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys' fees or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to participate.
